United Way of Summit & Medina envisions a community where leaders and organizations come together to solve problems, where help is always within easy reach, and where the opportunity to build a better life is available to everyone.
United Way directly serves people in need in Medina County, through programs like our free one-on-one financial counseling and 211, which connects people in need to helpful resources, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Every dollar you invest stays in the community, helping people overcome hardship and achieve their goals.
Changing lives. That’s what it comes down to. We measure our success not by how many people we serve, but by how many we empower.

Financial Empowerment
Financially empower 2,500 people in Medina County. This helps residents learn skills on budgeting, reducing debt, building credit and more.
Basic Needs & Mental Health
Food insecurity, shelter, access to health care and mental health services are the foundation of our efforts to improve the quality of life for everyone in our community.
